This is the link gate between the citadel and the main fort. It is named after a saint Shah Chand Wali who, as the myth goes, refused to get his wages for working on the construction of this gate. In recognition of his services the gate was named after him. The saint is believed to have died while still working and was buried just on the side of the gate where his shrine stands to his day.
